Federal Medical Centre Owo Admissions into Post Graduate Junior Residency Training Program

Applications are hereby invited from suitable qualified Medical Doctors for Junior Residency Training Programme leading to the Part 1 Followship Examination of National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) and West African Postgraduate Medical College (WAPMC) in Family Medicine, O & G, Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Radiology, General Surgery, Psychiatry and Community Health.

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess the MBBS degree or equivalent qualifications plus full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and evidence of completed NYSC scheme or Exemption Certificate. The candidate is also expected to have passed the primary examination of either the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or the West African Postgraduate Medical College as well as show evidence of possession of current practicing license.

Functions:

Successful candidates will be required to perform medical duties assigned to them by their Heads of Departments including call duties and any other duties assigned by the Ag. Medical Director. They are expected to exhibit a very high degree of devotion to duty, otherwise their residency programmes may be terminated at any time.

Conditions of Service:

As applicable in other Tertiary Health Institutions in the country.

Method of Application:

Interested candidates who meet the above minimum requirements are to collect an application forms from the office of the Ag. Medical Director, Federal Medical Centre, Owo on payment of a non-refundable fee of three thousand naira (N3,000) only.

Closing Date:

All completed application forms must reach the Ag. Medical Directors Office not later than four weeks from the date of this advertisement ie on or before 12noon, Monday, 1st May, 2017.
