The Minister of Labour and Productivity, Dr. Chris Nigige, stated this on Thursday during a meeting with the leadership of the association in Abuja.
Dr Nigige and his counterpart in the Ministry of Health, Professor Isaac Adewole, assured the resident doctors that their demands would be looked into. The team is led by NARD President, Dr Onyebueze Ugochukwu, as well as President of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Professor Mike Ogirima.
Both ministers and the doctors are presently in a closed-door meeting to address their demands.
