The Gel Mattress Overlay combines high density foam with 2" of our proprietary Lite Gel in order to redistribute pressure across the entire support surface. Radio frequency welded bladders prevent bottoming out while 25 independent gel channels reduce gel dispersion.

 

Product Features

Three layer construction of the foam core ensures that the gel overlay surface is flat, enhancing pressure relief and patient comfort. 75% of the surface area is covered by 2" of our Lite Gel. The flame-retardant, anti-bacterial nylon top cover provides protection from incontinence, promotes a cleaner mattress surface and resists hammocking or creasing while the grey reinforced vinyl bottom prevents skidding or puncturing. Handmade in the USA guarantees high quality construction. 

 

Base: 

Reversible sculpted high density foam surface enhances pressure relief and patient comfort while providing the necessary structure for the integrated gel bladders.

 

Middle: 

High density foam borders contain the 5 gel bladders with 25 independent cells. The bladders are radio frequency sealed to provide the strongest possible bond and prevent leaks. The proprietary Lite Gel features micro-beads and is 25% lighter than competing gel products, reducing weight while still providing the highest possible degree of skin protection.
