Posted on: Fri 12-08-2016

The chairman of Kuje Area Council, Alhaji Abdullahi D. Galadima, has said most primary health care centres in the council will begin 24 hour service.

He spoke when he paid an unscheduled visit to the Comprehensive Health Care Centre in Kuje yesterday.

He said he had also directed staff of the council’s direct labour unit to sink a borehole in the centre.

The council chairman said since health care is among his administration’s priority, the council would ensure that most rural clinics and health centres are upgraded and equipped so that residents could have access to medication whenever in need.

Also speaking, the head of the Comprehensive Health Centre, Mrs. Iyabo Balogun, assured the chairman of the staff’s readiness to work with the present APC-led administration of the council.

She said the centre would continue to put its best in health care service delivery to patients, including nursing mothers and children.
