Health records practitioners have called on the Federal Government to constitute a governing board for the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria (HRORBN).

Briefing newsmen in Abuja, National President of the Association of Health Records Practitioners of Nigeria (AHRPN), Nwani Jerry said constituting a governing board would ensure effective running of the board. The Health record practitioners urged government to spare the board any time boards of regulatory agencies were being dissolved, because the mandate of the board has to do with granting approvals for release of examination results, signing certificates as well as taking decisions on disciplinary matters, involving the professionals.
