Health Workers Seek Training For Radiographers

The Cross River State Chairman of the Medical Health Workers Union  of Nigeria, Comrade Ben Ukpekpi, has advocated training and refraining of radiography technicians, for better service delivery. 
 
He hailed members' ef-forts in restoring accreditation for the Department of Radiography, School of Health Technology, Calabar. 
 
Speaking at the union's secretariat when he received an award of excellence from the Association of Radiography Technicians, Ukpekpi praised local government workers for their patience despite delay in the payment of their salaries. He assured them that they would be paid soon. 
 
Ukpekpi said the award was a call to greater service. The Treasurer, Comrade Effanga Ita, who was also an awardee, hailed members for ensuring that the association remained firm despite challenges. 
 
He enjoined them to remain organised, united and steadfast, to attain greater heights. 
 
Chairman of the Association of Radiography, Technicians Christopher Odu described Ukpepi as a man with the interest of the association at heart.
