Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager/Clinical Manager

Job Category: Senior Level

Job Summary Responsible for ensuring the implementation and sustenance of policies, procedures and documentation of quality standards and for monitoring in line with the organisations policies and global standards; as well as assisting in managing the company's social media.

Key Result Areas (KRA) Support departments and business units in adhering to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), process manuals and operational guidelines. Develop assessment tools and evaluate the impact of set standards, recommend improvements and ensure compliance by all staff members. Gather reliable data on the process performance of the quality management system and their interrelationships. Analyze feedback from patients’ evaluation of medical personnel and the entire hospital experience. Execute regular spot checks on internal processes. Administer the quality education process formulating quality improvement programmes for employees. Conduct extended quality assurance audits on all third party suppliers and contractors for the organisation. Support the quality assurance manager in the implementation of LEAN management and high performance work systems within the hospital

The Person Must be a clinical personnel (public health, pharmacist, radiographer, doctor, nurse or laboratory scientist). At least, 2 years relevant work experience on a similar role preferably in the Health sector.

Collaborates with Hospital and Medical Staff leadership to identify and respond to issues affecting the delivery of patient care. Researches and recommends strategies and best practices and assists with the implementation of programs to increase patient care quality, excellence in operations and customer service.

Consults with various departments, service line leadership and committees on the design, structure and implementation of quality improvement programs.

Leads and facilitates cross-functional teams focused upon the implementation of quality improvement initiatives designed to improve patient care, safety and overall operations; consults on the redesign of systems and processes.

Develops, analyzes and presents quality improvement metrics and benchmarks. Utilizes dashboards, balanced scorecards and data analysis methods (i.e., control charts, run charts) to accurately display and measure performance variables.

Functions as a quality expert in collaborative projects, grant initiatives, various committees and other hospital projects.
