Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above named post in the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates for the post must have been inducted and should possess a good University Degree of MBBS or M.B. Ch.B or equivalent qualification registrable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.

 

SALARY:

CONMESS 01 STEP 01 - N1,316,488.00 per annum

 

FUNCTIONS:

Successful candidates will be required to perform the duties of House Officer and other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department from time to time.

 

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE:

The appointment will be for twelve (12) months only and successful Medical House Officer will be expected to rotate for three (3) months each through the departments of Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

 

Successful Dental House Officers will be expected to rotate for three (3) months each through the departments of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Preventive Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry and Child Dental Health.

 

Other conditions of service are similar to those obtainable in the Federal Public Service and University Teaching Hospitals.
