Ikpeazu Commissions 100-Bed Mgboko General Hospital

Abia State governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has commissioned an ultra modern 100 -bed General Hospital in Mgboko, Obingwa council area of the state. 
 
Speaking at the occasion, Ikpeazu who donated a million naira for the free treatment of people of the area said the hospital is one of his administration’s efforts to boost health care services in the state, adding that similar ones have been established in Arochukwu and Ikwuano council areas.  
 
He disclosed that the hospital is equipped with the state of the art equipment in health care management as well as doctors’ quarters and standby generating sets to enable all round operation of the facility and urged the people to make adequate use of the hospital. 
 
Earlier, Commissioner for Health, Dr. John Ahukanna and Chairman, Hospital Management Board, Dr. Reginald Alozie, who stated that the hospital boosts of x-ray machines, modern theatre, laboratory equipment, ultrasound machine and other modern facilities, assured that the hospital will be manned by well trained personnel to ensure quality service delivery.
