The leadership of the Association of Industrial Microbiologists of Nigeria says its 2016 conference/annual symposium will hold in Lagos on November 1, 2016.

Eminent Nigerians, comprising the Director-General of the Federal Research Institute, Oshodi, Dr. Gloria Elemo; Commissioner for Health, Ogun State, Dr. Babatunde Ipaye; and a University of Lagos lecturer, Prof. A. Aboaba, the association added, would grace the

The event, which holds at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry conference centre, she added, would attract stakeholders from the public and private sectors.

Ehiwuogu-Onyibe noted that Dr. Omolara Okunola of the Standard Organisation of Nigeria would speak on "Microbial Toxins in Manufactured Products: Challenges, Prevention", while Dr. Oluwabamiwo Folasade of NAFDAC would speak on "Mitigating against Toxins in Agro-Allied Products."
