The members and staff of Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital (ISTH) have protested today and decided to continue till Monday the strike action which was called off today on account of the reported assualt on the JAC chairman Comr. Ogubor.

 

Leaders of the protest action said they were going to forward a letter to the CMD to declare the CMAC's seat vacant till actions were taken concerning the assult

You would recall that on the 22nd of September 2017 Nursingworld Nigeria broke the news about the assualt with the header: #JOHESUStrike Update: ISTH CMAC Assults JAC Chairman Over Attempt To Enforce Strike Action where it was alledged that the CMAC Dr Overia had assaulted and Slapped the Joint Action Committee (JAC) Chairman Comrade Ogubor as he attempted to enforce the strike action called by JOHESU, in the fracas that ensured the CMAC was also said to have grabbed and smashed some phones belonging to some Excos who accompanied comrade ogubor as they attempted to record and get pictures of the assault.
