The Jamaatu Izalatil Bidia Waikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) will upgrade the Muslims Specialist Hospital, Zaria and set up a nursing school within the facility.
The National chairman of the group, Sheikh Abullahi Bala Lau, made this known when he visited the hospital. He said a committee would be set up to facilitate the upgrading of the hospital and the taking off of the school. Lau urged wealthy Muslims to make their contribution to the realisation of the projects, saying that since the hospital was subsidising its charges, assisting it would attract rewards from Allah.
In his remark, the chairman of the hospital’s Board, Alhaji Mustapha Jumare, said the hospital which was designed to have 300 beds for 300 patients, currently had only 90 beds, and that for it to realise its full potentials, the sum of about N1.3 billion was required.
