Jigawa State government is working out modalities toward zero malnutrition cases among children in the state, the Executive Secretary of the state Primary Healthcare Agency, Dr. Kabir Ibrahim has said.
The Executive Secretary made the announcement over the weekend while speaking with Daily Trust in Dutse.
He said Jigawa was among the states in the federation with high incidences of malnutrition cases among children hence the campaign to eliminate the disease.
According to him, the present government had instituted some measures toward addressing problems that encouraged the spread of the disease among children.
