In a letter dated 15th January 2018 and signed by Com. Akinfenwa A. O. the State Secretary for NANNM Oyo State Chapter, the body had written to the chairman, Oyo State Hospital Management Board Ibadan. The Letter tittled: "RE: NOTICE OF 3 DAY WARNING STRIKE BY JOHESU" read:

 

"I am directed to write and bring to your attention the above subject and inform you that in compliance with the directives of the Joint Health Sector Unios (JOHESU), Oyo State Council, all nurses in the employment of the Federal, State and local Governments shall observe a 3 day warning strike declared by JOHESU Oyo State Council."

 

"We thank you sincerely in anticipation of your understanding and necessary intervention to meet the demands of the workers in this regard."

 

The letter was copied to the Permanent Secretary HMB, the Director of Nursing Services HMB, and NANNM Unit Chairmen and Secretaries HMB.
