Reports coming in from an annoymous source at Federal Medical center states that men of the Nigerian Police Force are currently harrassing the strike force members of JOHESU who were mandated to enfore the strike action in all facilities. 

 

The Source who also sent in pictures wrote:

 

I am still at a loss as the possible reason for the desperation being shown by Imo  Commissioner of Police Chris Ezike and his men to justify their paymasters. Where else in Nigeria are reports of police brutality being reported with regards to an ongoing strike action. 

 

What is really their interest in the Federal Medical Centre Owerri. 

 

As I write, heavily armed men of the Nigerian Police force some of whom are captured in this pix stormed the hospital, assaulted the union leaders enforcing their strike and whisked about ten of them away to unknown destinations. 

Some of those whisked away already sustained injuries as they were assaulted with the butts of the NPF guns which were used to hit the JOHESU members repeatedly and at random. 

 

At this point I have to ask, in truth we all have to ask, what is Imo turning to, IMOLITES must rise up to these beings before it gets to the point where accidental discharges come to pass and innocent persons are killed because no human being, group or establishment can prevent JOHESU from enforcing their basic human right in enforcing this strike action.
