On the 2nd of March 2018 the Joint Health Sector Unions and the Assembly of Health Care Professionals called for a mobilization and sensitizatin of all its members in a letter.
The letter read:
"... have decided to mobilize and sensitize its members on the forth coming resumption of the National Strike following the inability of the Federal Government to implement the agreement it entered with JOHESU on 30th September 2017."
The letter also called each body to mobilize all state officers, unit officers and members to selected venues in the 6 geo political zones of Nigeria.
In view of this, the South West JOHESU members held their mobilization rally yesterday the 12th of March 2018 at UCH Ibadan to intimate its members on the forthcoming strike action by the body
