Katsina state government is to engage the services of additional 54 doctors and 600 nurses, para-medical officers as well as auxiliary staff for its hospitals across the state.
Governor Aminu Masari who disclosed this at the weekend noted that the move was to improved health care delivery in the state. According to him, the administration investment in the health sector is yelding positive results as medical trips are being reduced to the minimal level saying that ‘
The newly installed Computer Tomography CT scan and other medical equipment at the Amadi Rimi Special medical centre by the administration has further boosted health care delivery’.
