KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the fightagainst tuberculosis (TB), stlll the second most deadly infectious disease in the world 
 
KNCV is an international center of expertise for TB control that promotes effective, efficint, (innovative and sustainable tuberculosis control strategies in a national and international context. We are an organization of passionate TB professionals, including doctors, researchers, training experts, nurses and epidemioiogists. We aim to stop the spread of the worldwide epidemic of TB and to prevent the further spread of drug resitstant TB. .. 
 
Over the past century we have built up a wealth of knowledge and expertise, initially by successfully controlling TB in the Netherlands. Since the 19705, we have also shared our knowledge and expertise 
 
with the rest of the world. We operate from a central office in the Hague in the Netherlands, a regional office in Central Asia and country officers office in the Hague in the Netherlands, a regional office in Central Asia and country offices worldwide. KNCV raises from private, Institutional, corporate, and government donors
 
For the Challenge TB program in Nigeria KNCV is looking for staff to fill the following positions 
 
Program Officer
 
 
 
Specific Requirements:
•  A degree on Medicine (an MPH degree will be an additional advantage)
•  At least 4 year experience working with: HIV & TB program at various levels 
•  Experience with USAID or UN projects or any development partner is an advantage
•  Strong coordination, planning, and supervisory skills
•  Competent with operational plan development, implementaion and evaluation of results
 
Duty Station
Lagos, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Rivers, Enugu, Ondo, Osun, Bauchi, Katsina, Benue, Niger, Kano
 
 
Common requirements 
Excellent written and verbal English language skills 
Self starter, tem player, dynamic, solid, open, flexible, absolute integrity, organizational awareness 
Understanding of cultural differences
 
What does KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation opffer?
A fixed-term contract for 15 months, with the intention to extend the contract based on availability of funding 
An informal work atmosphere in an international enviornment where initiative is appreciated
A salary dependent upon education and relevant working experience
Full-time employment consists of 40 hours pers week
