Pro-Health International (PHI), a faith-based, non-profit organization executing HIV/AIDS comprehensive treatment, care and support projects in the Federal Capital Territory, Plateau and Nassarawa states requires the services of the following: Pro-Health International is recruiting to fill the position of:  

 

. Laboratory Specialist

 

Location: Abuja

 

Responsibilities: 

The incumbent will provide overall program leadership in laboratory services and systems, be responsible for the smooth running of facility laboratory machines and systems, provide mentoring and training to facility laboratory staff on the related service delivery and implementation activities and provide overall technical support for quality laboratory services including quality checks for laboratory results.

 

Requirements:

A first degree in medical laboratory sciences and a post graduate qualification is required.

A current practicing license with Medical Laboratory Council of Nigeria is mandatory.

3 - 5 years continuous relevant experience in automated HIV laboratory systems with demonstrable capacity to operate a CD4, hematology and chemistry machines.
