His Excellency, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, the Governor of lagos state has Approved the creation of the Consultant Pharmacist Cadre in the lagos state public service in line with global best practice and in furtherance of quality healthcare service delivery in lagos state
This gesture, which further demonstrates the present administrations commitment to employees professional fulfilment and career development, provides the opportunity for pharmacists to attain the peak of their careers in the state public service
Consequently, the scheme of service as regards the pharmacist cadre will henceforth include the consultant pharmacist cadre, which would be structured as follows
1.1 Intern Pharmacist Grade level 09
1.2 Pharmacist Grade level 10
1.3 Senior Pharmacist Grade level 12
1.4 Principal Pharmacist Grade level 13
1.5 Chief Pharmacist Grade level 14
1.6 Consultant Pharmacist 11/ Assistant Director Grade level 15
1.7 Consultant Pharmacist 1/ Deputy Director/ Director Grade level 16
1.8 Chief Consultant Pharmacist/ Director Grade level17
The schedule of duties and methods of entry/ advancement within the cadre is as enumerated in the attached Annexure
