As part of the activities marking this year’s Easter celebration at the Latter Rain Assembly, the church have made donations to Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH). The patients and nurses at the wards also benefited from the donations.
Some of the items presented to the hospital include patient monitor, infusion pump, sphygmomanometer, stethoscope, blood pressure MIT, blood pressure monitor Arm, 50 McIntosh covered hospital mattresses (21/2x6) among others.

500 packs of toiletries and a 100 pieces of the Holy Bible were also donated to the patients and nurses in the paediatrics wards.
While delivering the items to the management of the hospital, the church administrator, pastor (Mrs.) Biola Adeyoola conveyed the compliment of the church to the hospital stressing that the items were given with enthusiasm and cheerfulness expecially at this season of love.
In his own remark, the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Prof. Adewale Oke said “though the equipment look small, yet the will to give these equipment and materials would go a long way to save many lives. "These items are very, very important to us at this time.”
While also expressing appreciation to the Latter Rain Assembly for their kind gesture, Prof Oke assured the representatives of the church that the equipment would be put to good use.
In the same vein, the Assistant Director of Nursing Services at LASUTH, Mrs. Modupe Shode expressed gratitude to the church for the generous donation while promising that the items would be used effectively for the treatment of patients that come to the hospital.
Also present at the event were the Director of Hospital Administration, Mrs Olatokunbo Adio, the Director of Pharmacy, Mr Chukwura, an Anesthetist at the hospital, Dr. (Mrs) Majekodunmi and many other management staff of the hospital.
