LUTH Nurses Beg Minister of Health to Intervene in Their Six Months Salary Arrears

Some nurses under the employ of the lagos university teaching hospital have pleaded with the minister of health to intervene urgently on the non payment of their six month salary arrears
 
In a mail sent to Medicalworld Nigeria, the nurses also pleaded with the LUTH Managment under the leadership pf Dr Bode Chris and the office of the accountant general of the federation IPPIS to offset thier 6 months salary arrears which they claimed has accrued since after their appointment in june 2015
 
The letter in parts reads: We (NURSES)  were  appointed  in JUNE  2015  ,  WE  WERE  NOT  PAID  until  December 2015  and  there  has been  NO  OFFICIAL  COMMUNICATION  on  WHEN  the ARREARS   will  be paid .
 
We worked, Hard Labour indeed under Hot condition, Cold  weather, unfavorable atmosphere, we exert  our strength, dissipate our  energy ,  use  our  blood, body fluid in discharging our Noble & Care Duty efficiently and  effectively .  We  worked  in  darkness  with  our  Phones  Tourchlight  and  the  Luth Management   keeps   ABSOLUTE SILENCE  on  when  OUR  HARD  DESRVED  / ENTITLEMENTS (SALARIES)  ARREARS  will  be  paid   inspite  of  the  fact that  the  management EVOKED  "no  work  no  pay "    on  the  last   JUSTIFIABLE  STRIKE embarked  upon by the NURSES .
 
Please,  Also  note  that  the  Cmd  has  started  making  DEDUCTIONS  from Our Salaries effective from   this  year  January 2017  .
