MRC and the National leprosy & Tuberculosis (TB) Programme were awarded the Global Fund Round 9 TB grant to implement a Program entitled "Strengthening and Expansion of DOTS services in The Gambia" July 2010 to June 2015. The overall aim was to reduce transmission, morbidity & mortality associated with TB so that it will no longer be a public health problem in The Gambia.
 
Medical Consultants
 
We are seeking Consultants for external evaluation to review programme implementation. The main objective is to carry out a detailed assessment to ascertain whether the protocol was appropriately implemented to achieve the study objectives. The evaluation would be conducted in September 2015. It is envisaged to take 5 working days. 
 
 
Qualification and Experience: 
A clinician and/or epidemiologist with experience in TB management and control with Master's Degree in Public Health or other Health Sciences. And Experience with conducting similar evaluations preferably of Global Fund funded projects (evidence in form of evaluation reports).
