Merry Christmas to all Nigerian Medical and Healthcare Professionals

Posted on: Mon 25-12-2017

As we join christian faithfulls worldwide to mark the birth of Christ Jesus on this day, you can guarantee that three places will be open today: Fast food joints, Cinema’s and hospitals.

Nigerian Medical Professionals who put in full or extended shifts on Christmas day are on ground to make sure that all patients are cared for.

Each Christmas; Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists, Radiographers, Lab Scientists, Physiotherapists and others juggle their work schedules and sacrifice their time, giving up their own Christmases to accommodate the needs of patients.

These dedicated caregivers would spend their day changing catheters, resuscitating patients, managing emergencies, cleaning wounds, taking care of each and every patient, while the rest of us enjoy being with our families in the warmth of our homes.

As we commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ, Medicalworld Nigeria urges us all to rededicate ourselves to the virtues of peace, love, justice, piety, humility and service to others which he taught.

There can be no doubt that a greater manifestation of these virtues and ideals in our lives will immensely help us in our chosen career path as healthcare professionals

To you at home or at the hospital working this festive period, We wish y'all a Merry Christmas as you continually bring love and happiness into peoples' lives.

We wish you the timeless treasures of Christmas, the warmth of home, the love of family and the company of good friends.

Best wishes from all of us at Medicalworld Nigeria
