We are seeking a competent, passionate and experienced midwife to join our brand-new state of the art clinic in Ikeja.

As a midwife, your duties and responsibilities include:

·         Antenatal assessments in line with local policies and guidelines

·         Holistically planning your client’s care, recognizing deviations from the norm and acting appropriately.

·         Prepare and support clients and their families for the transition to parenthood through antenatal classes

·         Breastfeeding workshops

·         CTG monitoring and interpretation

·         Postnatal care

·         Family planning advice

·         As well as many other nursing duties

You will not be delivering at present but is a service we may add on in the future.

A suitable candidate for this position must be

·         Personable

·         Caring

·         Pays attention to details

·         Able to work as an autonomous practitioner

·         Be able to deal with emotionally charged situations

·         Works well under pressure and as part of a team

·         Good I.T skills

·         Must have a valid nursing and midwifery license and be fit to practice.

You will be working with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses and nurse aids and reporting to the Head Nurse.
