The Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, on Monday appealed to the resident doctors to suspend their strike in the interest of Nigerians.
Adewole, who assured the doctors of Federal Government’s readiness to address all the issues in contention, said the government needed more time to address the problems. He said: “Another round of meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 6, 2017 and it is hoped that more progress would have been made in reaching consensus in all the issues being discussed.”
He expressed the federal government’s determination to promote industrial harmony in the health sector.
