In fulfillment of the transparency and accountability component of the ongoing rebranding agenda of the national health insurance scheme (nuts), and in order to resolve the unacceptable issue of HMOs indebtedness to healthcare facilities with regards to payment of capitation and fee-for-service, the scheme hereby requests all HCFs to send in details of all bills submitted to HMOs as at October 31, 2019 and which are yet to be settled/paid.

The submissions should be forwarded to the NHIS office nearest to the healthcare facilities, not later than two weeks of this publication.
Please treat as urgent.
