National postgraduate medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) Announces RESEARCH METHODOLOGY IN MEDICINCE WORKSHOP
 
OBJECTIVE
To facilitate acquisition of Basic knowledge and necessary skills for research in Medical and Proposal/Dissertation writing 
 
COURSE CONTENT 
•  Definition, Spectnum and Types of Health Research Design
•  Defining Research Proposals (Planning, Protocol Development and Report Writting)
•  Good Clinical Practices and Clinical Trials 
•  Role of Computer in Medical Research (EPI info and SPSS) 
•  Literature review, Use of Physical and Virtual Libeary, Use of Internet, Search Engines, Systematic Reviews and Meta-analsis Clincal Governance.
•  Writing -Up and Defense of Dissertation
•  Faculty Based Group Discussion on Research Proposal (Practical Grouo Session)
•  Evidence Based Health Care 
•  Statistical Methods (Summary, Inferences and Interpretation)
•  Basic Principles and Method of Writing Papers for Publication
•  Practical Sessions on Processing of Proposal and Presentation to the College 
•  Budget and Sources of Funding for Research

.  Resident Doctors, Medical Officers of Health,
.  Fellows and other Medical/Dental Practitioners
 
Date: Monday 27th - Friday 31st July, 2015.
 
Time: 8: 00 am - 6:00 Pm Daily
 
Course Fees 
N40,000.00 per participant
Certilicate will be issued to partiicipant at the end pf the workshop. Participants will also earn MDCN CPD credit units 
 
Mode: Non-Residential 
Registration CLOSES 12.00 noon of the second day of Workshop
