The Sokoto State Contributory Health Care Management Agency will conduct accreditation exercise of 200 health facilities across the state.
A statement signed by the Director, Administration of the agency, Bashir Mohammad, said this was part of the preparation for the launching and take off the scheme in the state.
It added that the exercise would be conducted in collaboration with the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
It further stated that the accreditation was to ensure that the facilities meet with the minimum standards in terms of personnel, infrastructure and equipment required to provide best health care services.
