The National Public Relations Officer Nigerian Medical Students Association (NiMSA) Leslie Obasi has announced the death of one of theirs identified as Miss Nneoma. The sad event was said to have occured at Abia State University Medical Students Association (ABSUMSA) where a bus conveying soon to be inducted doctors from ABSUTH who had traveled to collect induction gowns against Thursday had an accident Enroute Umuahia (Abia State Capital). 

Thirteen doctors were involved, 11 had bruises, one sustained a spinal fracture, and one is deceased.

 

Amongst the Persons involved in this tragic incident was a Former NiMSA National Director, Standing Committee on Medical Education (SCOME) Comr. Nedum Oti and Unfortunately Miss Nneoma who lost her life to this tragedy.

 

The National PRO on behalf of the NiMSA President; Comr. Haruna Musa Kereng and the NiMSA National Officers Council sympathized with the families and friends of their affected comrades and the recently deceased sister, praying for her repose. He also prayed that God will fill the vacuum that her demise has left in the hearts of her family and friends, may God grant her family the fortitude to bear the loss.
