The College of Health Technology, Ningi, will run courses in Radiography, Paramedics, and Pharmacy Technology.
A group, Ningi Unity Forum, disclosed at a press conference that the decision to introduce the new courses was based on the recommendations of a committee which had earlier visited sister institutions in the country. Chairman of the forum, Salisu Barau Ningi, said the college made great strides in national examinations.
He said it recorded 92 per cent pass rate in Community Health Environmental Worker (CHEW ), Junior Community Health Environmental Worker (JCHEW) and 92 per cent in Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) and Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) examinations in 2016.
