NMCN Invitation To Attend Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) Workshop

The Board of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria at its 43rd General Meeting held on 18th - 19th, December 2017 approved the commencement of Objective Structured Clinical Examination for General Nursing Programme with effect from May 2018 Professional Examination for General Nurses. 
 
In the light of the above, you are hereby requested to nominate and sponsor at least three Nurse Educators and two Clinicians from each of your Nursing training institution to attend a three-day sensitization workshop. 
 
The aim of the workshop is to impact knowledge of the implementation strategy on OSCE examination to prospective Council Examiners, Nurse Educators, Clinicians and Instructors. The workshop is scheduled to hold as follows:

Date: February 26th - March 2nd, 2018 
 
Departure March 2nd 2018 
 
Venue: 
1. South-West Zone: Lagos State 
2. South-East Zone: Abia State 
3. South-South Zone: Akwa-Ibom State 
4. North-Central & North-East Zones: Gombe, Gombe State 
5. North-West Zone: Katsina, Katsina State 
 
Actual venue will be communicated in due course. 
 
Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) Warns Against Exorbitant Charges Under Pretext Of Council Fees 
 
Time: 8am - 6pm daily 
 
WORKSHOP FEES: 35,000 (Thirty five thousand Naira) only payable into Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, through remita. Please note that only payment teller is to be presented at the venue. 
 
NOTE. Online application form for intending participants will be available on Council's website www.nmcn.gov.ng from Monday January 22nd - Friday February 16th, 2018. 
 
All participants intending to attend this workshop MUST complete and submit their application form online on or before February 16. 2018.
