In its sustained commitment to uplift the standard of nursing education in nigeria, NURSINGWORLD gave an award/cash prize to the best graduating nursing student at the first induction ceremony of the Usmanu Danfodiyo university Sokoto which held on friday 29th March 2019

 

The award plaq and a cash prize of N50,000 was presented by the Registrar of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria Alhaji Faruk umar Abubakar to the best graduating student at the induction event which held at the university auditorium of the Usmanu Danfodiyo university Sokoto

 

 

While presenting the price, the registrar who is also the pioneer Head of the department of Nursing at the Usmanu Danfodiyo university Sokoto expressed his appreciation to Nursingworld for giving the price which is the highest price in all the price received by the graduand. The sum of twenty thousand Naira was also given to the same best graduating student by the registrar in recognition of his brilliance and exemplary character   

 

The recipient of the award, USMAN ZAKARI graduated with a CGPA of 4.64 on a 5-point scale and emerged the best graduating student in the department. This feat separated him from his peers and qualified him for the coveted award donated by the Nursingworld
