A new Chief Medical Director (CMD) has been appointed for the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Ituku-Ozall, Enugu State.
He is Dr. Obinna Onodugo of the College of Medicine, University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus. A statement from the institution said before his appointment, Onodugo, who hails from Enugu State, was Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) of the hospital. He took over from Dr. Chris Amah who served for eight years.
He had previously served as the chairman of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Enugu State branch.
