The current Miss Health Nigeria, Queen Rita Chinedu, has advocated for improved trauma care in Nigeria. According to her, ineffective attention to trauma care is killing thousands of Nigerians. She said this at a trauma care conference that was recently held.

The event was attended by the current President Nigeria Orthopaedic Association & Nigeria Medical Association, Dr Mike Ogirima, Former Minister of Health, Dr Onyebuchi Chukwu, and other stakeholders in Nigeria’s health sector particularly trauma care practitioners.
