All is now set for the BLS ACLS class scheduled to hold at the Conference hall of the Owerri hotel plaza. The training organized by Nursingworld Nigeria is billed to commence on the 2nd September 2019 at 9am daily.

Speaking on this development, Jude Chiedu noted that 'included in the course content was Intraossesous cannulation, airway management and ECG rhythm identification. He added that the course was internationally certified by the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) and American Heart Association

This is a great opportunity for Hospitals and Facilities to equip their staffs with the requisite knowledge and skills to function maximally in the event of an emergency. Most medical and healthcare professionals would go thru their entire career without the opportunity of seeing or using an AED or manual defibrillator but our simulation trainings ensure that nurses learn this skills in a controlled environment using simulation and training manikins

Participants at the end of the course would receive a certificate of proficiency and the ASHI/ AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) License issued by the American Safety and Health Institute/ American Heart Association

He also noted that the course fee was subsidized (N30,000/ N50,000) to ensure nurses are not denied the knowledge, proficiency and skills in BLS/ACLS just because they can’t afford the course fee
