The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), Kano State Branch decorates the PSN, President on Wednesday, 17th August 2016 at Tahir Guest Palace, Kano with the most prestigious "PROFESSIONAL LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT MERIT AWARD" for his significant contribution to pharmacy profession and healthcare over a sustained period for 34 years.
The state Chairman of PSN says, "Yakasai made a lasting and outstanding contribution to pharmacy profession and its practice, healthcare sector and indeed exhibited leadership and provided inspiration to others in the sector". "We are also happy that our branch produced the President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria and Honorary Consul- General of Pakistan in Nigeria and proud of his achievements so far" Indeed so far so good!
No doubt that he is an achiever as the first Fellow of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria from Kano State, Fellow of Nigerian Institute of Management, Fellow of Nigeria Academy of Pharmacy, Fellow of Chartered Institute of Commerce, Fellow of Institute of Logistics Management, Fellow of International Visitor Programme(USA-1997) etc Pharm. Ahmed I Yakasai FPSN in his response thank the whole Pharmacists in Kano State for their immeasurable and lavished support, love and kindness and feel greatly honored and humbled for finding him worthy of this very important award. "I really appreciate your appreciation of my modest contribution in the development of pharmacy profession and its practice".
