As street to street vaccination against polio commences today throughout Kaduna State, parents have been charged to produce their children for effective protection against the crippling polio virus.
The Journalists Initiative on Immunization against Polio (JAP) which explained in a press statement that the vaccination exercise would be conducted house to house and in markets, motor parks and on highways, appealed to traditional rulers and religious leaders to give their support towards the success of the exercise. “All arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of the exercise by the state government, development partners and other stakeholders,” JAP assured in the press statement signed by its Kaduna State coordinator, Lawal A. Dogara.
