PSN President Expresses Appreciation at the End of the PSN 89th Annual National Conference

The just concluded 89th Annual National Conference of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) which is the platform for the highest of our activities and indeed the largest event in our calendar took Minna, Niger State by the storm and left many remarkable and fondest memories. We thank God for journey mercies and successful outing.

On behalf of the NEC, Council and the entire membership of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, I Pharm. Ahmed I. Yakasai, FPSN, FNIM, FNAPharm, wish to express my deepest and heartfelt appreciation to the Special Guest of Honour, Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, GCON, SAN for his wonderful, informative and stimulating speech read by the Hon. Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac. F. Adewole.

I humbly convey my compliments and highly honoured by the presence of the Guest of Honour, Honourable Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac F. Adewole who not only inspired  and motivated us but proved to be a friend of pharmacy profession.

I am profoundly grateful to the Keynote Address Speaker, Pharm. Olu Akanmu, Senior Vice President (Retail Banking), FCMB Plc for his speech which was not only captivating, but inspiring, educative and loaded with information. However, Prof. Chinedum Babalola Peace captured the presentation as “As I listened to the speech and desired so much to have the paper, I was jotting down copiously while Pharm. Olu was speaking at Minna because every word, sentence and statement were pungent, powerful and loaded, so i could not afford to miss any. The keynote was my peak for the brief period I stayed at the opening” Thank you Pharm. Olu Akanmu for a well researched paper and beautiful presentation which kept everybody glued to you.

My special thanks to His Excellency, the Governor of Niger State, Alhaji(Dr) Abubakar Sani Bello and amiable wife, Her Excellency, Dr Amina Abubakar Sani Bello for their display of solidarity, goodwill and show of love to pharmacists and pharmacy profession throughout our stay in Minna. And I must express my gratitude to the Guest of Honour and an Awardee of friend of Pharmacy, His Excellency, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, OFR, the Governor of Kano State who was ably represented by the Honourable Commisioner for Health, Kano State, Dr Kabiru Ibrahim Getso.

Let me also seize this opportunity to convey our gratitude and deep sense of appreciation to the Chairman of the occasion, His Excellency, Alhaji Ibeto Musa Ahmed, Former Deputy Governor of Niger State, the Rt. Hon.
