The President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria and the Honorary Consul-general of Pakistan in Nigeria, His Excellency, Pharm. Ahmed I. Yakasai, FPSN has inaugurated the education and inter-professional committees at Pharmacy house, Anthony Village, Lagos, today, January 19, 2017.

In his address, the PSN President challenged both committees to work assiduously to move the profession to the next level. He assured the committees his utter commitment to support their objectives when they need him.
“We are for the people. We are for the public. We believe we should treat everyone with utmost respect and relevance” The President says.
The Chairman of education committee, Prof. Igwilo appreciated the President for the kind gesture to the members of the committee to serve the profession and promise the committee will serve beyond expectations.
The deputy chairman of the inter-professional committee ably represented by the Chairman, Pharm. Ifeanyi Atueyi, FPSN appreciated the President for finding them worthy for the task and assured the President of their total dedication to the task ahead.
Lastly, the President broke the news that Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bayero University, Kano got the approval from National Universities Commission NUC to convert B. Pharm Degree to Pharm. D degree.
We heartily congratulate BUK for this milestone. He appeals to other Universities to apply for advisory visits.
