The Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN) has sealed Zenith Radiological Services Limited, in Kubwa, Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
A statement from the board yesterday said the board had been on the trail of the diagnostic centre, and that the enforcement exercise was carried out to ensure safety of people in the environment. The Head, Monitoring and Enforcement of RRBN, Mr Onwuegbuchu Ebere Obinna said the diagnostic centre had not been registered by the board, and that it had been using quacks to carry out ionizing radiation.
Onwuegbuchu said that the public should always demand for the license of radiographers in any centre they visit. He added that a good centre would have the license of the radiographers displayed visibly at its entrance.
