In its bid to keep setting the pace and lay emphasis on the importance of training and development in the workplace, the Regions Stroke and Neuroscience Hospital has trained its Nursing staff and Ambulance Personnel in Basic and Advanced Life Support Course (BLS & ACLS)

The training organized by Nursingworld Nigeria held at the hospital premises located on Km 17 Owerri-Port Harcourt Express Road in Owerri, Imo state. The course provided a prime opportunity to expand the knowledge base, clinical competency and proficiency of the participants.

The course content covered skills needed to manage BLS and ACLS cases with practical sessions on AED use, CPR, Manual Defibrillation, Pacing, Synchronized Cardioversion, Airway management and Intra Osseous Cannulation etc 

At the end of the course, participants appreciated being on top of changing industry standards and clinical practise guidelines.
