General Manager of Reckitt Benckiser (RB) West Africa, Dayanand Sriram, has enjoined Nigerians to practice regular hand washing with anti-bacterial soup to ensure quality health and improved hygiene.
The practice, he said, would reduce diarrhoea cases among Nigerians.
He stated this in Lagos yesterday at the launch of Dettol Clean Naija titled: Your Health Is In Your Hands, adding that Dettol stands for healthy homes and happy homes.
Dettol brand ambassador, Funke Akindele, advised nursing mothers and market women in Oshodi, Obalende, Yaba and other parts of Lagos and in the entire country to stop open defecation and wash their hands regularly, saying open defecation has become a worrisome practice in Nigeria.
She advised that people should build good toilets in their homes to maintain proper hygiene.
