Job Title: Research Field Supervisor
Society for Family Health (SFH)
Location: Gombe
Project: Gates2 MNCH Project
Duration of Contract: Full-time Contract, Two (2) Months
Slot: 10
 
Job Profile
The successful candidates will provide support data management and quality assurance under the CRADLE device study on the Gates2 MNCH project in Gombe State.
 
Job-role
Collate and enter quantitative data
Validate and ensure quality through review of registers, other primary data collection tools, and backchecks
Collect quantitative data and summarize findings weekly
Train village health works on data collection and appropriate application of blood pressure monitoring device
Hold regular meetings with VHWs and visit health facility to solve data management issues as they arise on the field
Be willing to work in any of the following wards; Akko, Balanga, or Gombe LGAs
Support the project in informed decision making as it concerns the CRADLE study
Support all other routine data collection, reporting, implementation and dissemination of information from the CRADLE study
 
Qualifications/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Health Sciences, or related field
At least one (1) year experience participating in the conduct of FGDs and KIIs
Passion for field research and demonstrable experience managing data collectors
Ability to speak Hausa language fluently would be a major asset, with the ability to communicate data findings and ideas clearly to diverse audiences is a plus
Experience with MS office package
Must be resident in Gombe
