Rivers State Primary Health Care Workers Association Dissociates Self From JOHESU Ultimatum

The Rivers State Primary Health Care Workers Association has in a memo distanced itself from being a part of the ultimatum given by JOHESU to the Rivers State Government.
 
You would recal that in a previous post the Joint Health Sector Union of Rivers State had issued a 21 day ultimatum, to the state government to implement its nine point demand or face indefinite strike by its members in the state.
 
The ultimatum which was signed by over 200 members, revealed amongst others the following: 
- 100% implementation of the consolidated health salary structure for health workers
- the adjustment of the call duty and non clinical allowances for health workers
- the regularizing of appointment of health workers'
 
The union had also warned that the health sector would be shutdown if the Rivers State Government refused to meet its demands by May 14, 2017.
