Position: Technical Officer, Laboratory Services (High-Tech)

Location: Abuja

The Technical Officer, Laboratory Services (High-Tech) will Provide technical support to te implementation of program interventations that will support the provision of high qualified molecular laboratory services as part SIDHAS effort to build state and national capacity for the provision comprehensive HIV/AIDS and TB care, treatment and support sevices

Minimum Recruitment Standards:

• BSc in biomedical field or medical laboratory science or equivant field with 507 NYSC experience 

• OR Master degree in degree in biomedical field or medical laboratory science or equivalent field with 3-5 years post NYSC  experience 

•   Evidence of training/certification in Molecular diagnostic techniques.

•   Minimum of 3 years molecular/PCR laboratory experience is required

•   Knowledge of advanced laboratory procedures, diagnosis and management related to HIV/AIDS  care and treatment is required with some experierce in an international devekiopment organization preferred.

•  Certification license to practice as a medical laboratory scientist is required.

•   Expertise in hematology, TB and blood safety issues will be an added advantage

•  Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health system and NGOs and CBOs highly desirable
