The Strengthening Intergrated Delivery of HIV/AIDS Services (SIDHAS), a project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)  is currently seeking qualified candidates for the positions of;
Position: The Technical Officer, Monitoring & Evaluation
Contract Type: 1 year fixed team
Location: Bauchi
 
The Technical Officer, Monitoring & Evaluation under the supervision of the Senior Technical Officer (M&E) and State Program manager, and with technical oversight from the Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, is responsible for the implementaion of monitoring and evaluation activitites for the state office. The Technical Officer (M&e) will work other in the state office and local implementing partners to ensure that state monitoring and evaluation activites are appropriate and meet the donor and project's M&E needs.
 
Minimum Recruitment Standards:
•  MBBS with 1 to 3 years relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT and ART in resource constrained settings.
•  Or MPH or MSc in relevant degree with 3 to 5 years relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT and ART  in resource constrained settings. 
•  Or BSc in statistics, pharmacy, microbiology, monitoring and evaluation or in relevant degree with 5 to 7 years relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation with a sound understating of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT and ART in reource constrained settings
•  Familiarity with Nigeria public sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable
