 TEMPORARY/LOCUM CONSULTANT IN ORTHOPEDIC SURGERY WITH SPECIAL INTEREST IN ARTHROSCOPY, SPINE, KNEE AND SPORT MEDICINE

KASI Healthcare is looking for a Locum Consultant in Orthopedic Surgery with special interest in arthroscopy, spine, knee and sport medicine to join our cohesive and enthusiastic team of consultants in diverse area of medicine.

The contract will be for a 3 PA's per week. Six hours (6hrs) for Each PA

Salary Package: N250, 000 – N1, 000,000

Essential job functions include but are not limited to:

·         Performing surgeries on various parts of the musculoskeletal system including reattaching tendons and ligaments, plating broken bones, and performing hip and knees replacements.

·         Perform arthroscopy of the knee, shoulder, hip, spine and the ankle joint.

·         Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests such as MRIs, X-Rays, and bloodwork and recommend treatments such as therapeutic exercise, nutrition, and other non-invasive surgery or open surgery.

 

Requirements

·         Candidates should possess MBBS, FWACS or its equivalent.

  • Completion of approved Residency in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years post-Fellowship experience will be an added advantage.
  • International licensure, training and academic experience will also be an added advantage.
  • Candidates must be fully registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
