This is Exactly a Decade Ago, that I was Diagnosed with Breast Cancer and I had Radical Mastectomy on 15/12/2005. 

 

To Allah be the Glory! So far so good; The Journey has not been an Easy One; A lot of Women have lost the Baffle for One Reason or the Other. I'm Grateful to be amongst the Survivors. And to those who made Some Sacrifices in One Way or the Other - I Say a BIG Thank You and I Love You All 

 

To the Management of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH), I appreciate all the Love and Kindness you have shown Me, May Allah Reward You All. 

 

And to my Colleagues, Staff of AKTH and So Many Others, too numerous to Mention their Names who I came across through the Decade of My Cancer Joumey till now. I remain Grateful; May Allah Protect You from My Kind of Ordeal. 

 

To the Federal and States Government, I Suggest We Design a Holistic Approach to the Management of Cancer, We can Borrow Ideas from Developing Economies like India, Malaysia South African etc. A Cancer Bill will be a Good Idea; which is a Policy Statement that will not be Altered, because the walk of the Last Decade is too Tedious for Anyone to Walk alone. 

 

To the Families of All those who are Co-Travelers and those whom have Lost the Battle, May Allah Console You and Grant the Fortitude p Aar the Loss. Amin! To All the Survivors, I wish you a Happy Survivorship with Perfect Health: The Sky is Our Limit.
