The University of Jos in Plateau State has inducted 132 medical doctors who completed their training at the College of Health Science of the institution.
Speaking at the event, the Vice Chancellor Sebastian Maimako, called on the doctors to practice diligently and within the ethics of the profession.
Represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics, Nelson Ochekpe, the VC said, “I urge you to practice within the ethnics of your profession. You should strive to excel and provide the best of care to humanity and let the concern for human life be your concern always.”
In his remarks, the Provost, College of Health Science of the university, Simon Yiltok, said much had been invested on the graduating doctors and so they should not fail the university and their parents.
